If a student is Dyslexic, they receive specific and intensive Structured Literacy Wilson Reading System instruction every day for 50 minutes. This instruction is conducted one-to-one or with no more than 2 students at a time who are on the same level.

If necessary, students could also receive Writing instruction on a daily basis to improve their overall literacy skills.
Participation in Wilson and Writing instruction is in addition to the Project-Based Learning portion of a student's day and usually occurs at the same time every day.

A student can choose to attend one of our physical campuses in NJ, GA or FL, or The Academy Virtual. If a student attends a physical campus, then he/she will be supported by the teaching staff at the physical campus and possibly by some Virtual teachers. If a student attends The Academy Virtual, then he/she will only be supported by Virtu

We want students to take ownership of their own high school education. Their day is comprised of independent work, working with a teacher, and possibly collaboration with a group of other students. A students' learning is always being driven by a qualified teacher, but with the student's continuous input.

Every day and regardless if a student is attending a physical campus or The Academy Virtual, they will have interaction with one of their teachers.
All of our students' school days will be intently focused on them accomplishing learning elements as outlined on their Individualized Learning Plan.

An Individualized Learning Plan is developed for each student and for every school year they attend our school. This plan takes into account a student's academic needs, life interests, and strengths and weaknesses.

An Individualized Learning Plan is developed for each student and for every school year they attend our school. This plan takes into account a student's academic needs, life interests, and strengths and weaknesses.
A student's Individualized Learning Plan will layout the times and days that they are to attend school, which teacher(s) they are meeting with, and any other pertinent information for them to be successful.
As students enter their 11th and 12th grade years, their Individualized Learning Plan will include at least 1 internship each year in an area of their interest.
