 Hi, I’m Kristy Spinuzzi and I’ve been teaching for 22 years! I enjoy visiting amusement parks and the zoo, spending time with my family, reading, watching soccer, and running. 

I have a maltipoo named Halo, but we call her Foofy! I absolutely adore her, and I would probably have 10 dogs if my husband wouldn’t divorce me!  

I am passionate about teaching and empowering our youth to become the best they can be. Let's make it a great year! 

 My name is Nicole Pickett (Ms. P) and I am so excited to be part of this school community! I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both public and charter schools, and I currently work as an educational consultant on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, where I coach teachers on best practices and student engagement. Each experience has deepened my passion for education and strengthened my belief in the power of empowering both teachers and students.

I grew up in the beautiful town of Durango, Colorado, and now I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me baking something sweet, traveling to new places, or spending time outdoors—especially on my paddleboard.

My goal as an educator is to help teachers feel confident breaking out of the mold and trying new things, and to support students in taking ownership of their learning. I truly believe that when we take risks and stay curious, amazing things can happen.
